Help us work together to help each other.
Communicable Diseases have increasingly become part of everyday concern for all of us. Obermark Optometry is committed to maintaining a safe and clean environment. We appreciate your continued trust in us as we practice within the full scope of our profession while closely monitoring & incorporating up-to-minute CDC recommendations & guidelines.
We thank you for your support and acceptance of our diligent processes as we continue to network with public health authorities & implement processes to protect our staff and the people we serve. We are taking many steps to ensure that we protect patients and staff at both campus locations. We have installed UV-C light boxes which routinely sanitize all eyewear in our dispensaries, and Medical grade H13 HEPA air purification devices at both our Washington & Belle office locations. As CDC guidelines change, so will our processes. We will regularly post updates to our Facebook site. For more information concerning Communicable Diseases, please visit https://www.cdc.gov/
Are you feeling well on the date of your scheduled eye exam? We want you to know that if our staff is not feeling 100% on a given day, we have them check for a fever and complete a COVID test if appropriate. If either of these are positive, we instruct our staff to stay at home until the situation is resolved. If those testes are negative, and they are exhibiting upper respiratory sympton=ms, you will see staff wearing a mask that day for the protection of everyone. We recommend that our patients follow these same guidelines if they are not feeling well on the date of their appointment.
