Licensed: Missouri: Diagnostic and Therapeutic Pharmaceuticals Doctor of Optometry: University of Missouri - St. Louis, Mo College of Optometry Professional Membership: American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, 10 year Diplomate - American Board of Optometry. Doctor Obermark has served on numerous professional and community boards, and has served as Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Obermark is dedicated to providing quality patient care. His knowledge, skills & abilities are in tandem with new developments in modern eye care - he is demonstrative of leadership and is comitted to being a lifelong learner. Proficient in managing all aspects of routine and medical eye care, Dr. Obermark has 30 years of experience as a licensed optometrist while providing private practice family eye care. |
Our Practice Manager: Rebecca Obermark, RN, BSN, ABOC
Rebecca is Obermark Optometry's Practice Manager. Rebecca's favorite element within her professional toolbox is her experential footing. In a day, she uses her toolbox to the fullest extent. She is a licensed RN, BSN & holds certifications in business & public health, and is certified as an Optician by the ABOC. She has worked in a variety of health care settings including critical care nursing, nursing administration, health care entity management, senior residental care management, & quality improvement consulting. She is grateful for her background skills & uses them at Obermark Optometry's Washington & Belle offices to recruit, train, develop & retain staff, navigate administrative & marketing duties, complete mid level accounting for Washington & Belle office campuses, and help staff in daily patient care. "I am honored when a patient asks for a staff member instead of me – this serves as a wonderful affirmation that I have done my job well as Practice Manager.” |
In our Belle Office - Kathryn Phipps (Kat, Kathy), ABOC
Kat Phipps is our lead staff member in our Belle Office & has been with us for over 20 years. Kat received her ABOC license shortly after joining Obermark Optometry. Years of optical experience in the laboratory and in the clinic make Kat an excellent Optician in every aspect. She is kind & skilled, bright & creative, sincere & assertive. She is a devoted staff member who is both leader & cheerleader for our entire staff. Her daily enthusiasm and work ethic is unmatchable. She is a gift to our patients and to our work team! On Kat's off time, she stays busy tending to her beautiful farm & home with her husband, and is an active volunteer within the Belle community.

In our Belle Office - Roxanne Herrington, Paraoptometric Staff.
Roxanne Joined the staff at Obermark Optometry in January 2022. She came to Obermark Optometry with experience in a variety of employment settings. Bright and quick to learn all aspects of skills, Rox finished her orientation, meeting all aspects in record time. We admire her ability to align the importance of her position as paraoptometric staff with the ethics, mssion & vision of Obermark Optometry. She continues to accelerate her knowledge & skills to new heights in effort to suppoert all goals of patient care. 
In our Washington Office - Kelli Rhodes, Para Optometric Staff. From a remarkably similar Southern Missouri Optometric Private Practice Kelli came to Obermark Optometry in December 2017 nearly fully trained - with knowledge of our electronic health record software system to boot! Kelli is a quick learner & a change agent. She is a mother of 2 beautiful girls - she juggles many roles well and is our lead staff member at Obermark Optometry's Washington Office location. Kelli graduated (May 2020) from East Central College with a degree in Health Information Management. Kelli's pleasant demeanor with our patients is always noticed - her patients appreciate her great care & she is a wonderful colleague to work with. |
In our Washington Office - Korine Haug-Krieftmeyer, Para Optometric Staff.
Korine joined our Washington Office Team in February, 2020. A native to the Washington area & with experience in running a small business, Korine understands the importance of customer service. She is a good fit for Obermark Optometry. Her sense of humor adds a splash of fun to our work environment - it is easy to recognize her laugh within earshot range. She is a mother of 2 grown children, & stays busy during off time enjoying her home in Downtown Washington. She is very busy mastering the optical skills of Obermark Optometry.
